Friend or NAH?

I remember growing up hurrying to get ready to watch TV just to catch some of my favorite cartoons in the 90s. I absolutley loved Loony Tunes! There were a plethera of cartoons that would come on and each time you always knew the plot somewhat however the details were always facinating. Back then nothing beat belly aching laughter with my sister and cousins.

There was nothing linke eating a bowl of Cheerios with strawberries and sugar while watching cartoons at my Nanny's house. The infectious laughter no matter if it was funny or not was enough to send you falling back or rolling on the floor. Those days there was nothing to really worry about except for respecting your parents and your room clean. Not to mention having to finish all of your food before you could get up from the table to watch tv and that sometimes was very hard.

This morning my eldest daughter and I were watching The Looney Tunes Show. Bugs and Daffy go on this Besties TV Show to prove they were best friends in order to win a cruise. Daffy knew ABSOLUTELY nothing about Bugs Bunny at all even after all these years plus living with him for 5 years. That's sad but it made me question how well do we really know those that we've been around for years? Is it that we're just there for the comfort, our own benefit or true friendship.

I have a few questions for you to ponder on: What is your definition of a friend, How well do you know your friends, and last but not least what is it about your friend that makes you happy to be their friend?
