Her Story
My Name is Tonita D. I am an African American wife, mother, disciple of Christ, Emcee, author, and Christian Leader. This is a space for encouragement and uplifting with my testimony and experiences. I grew up as a trouble youth that was involved in a gang at the age of 13 and just angry. Trying to find myself in a world where I thought and felt like no one but 1 other person loved me growing up. As time moved on I became a mother within my early 20 as a single parent to my oldest daughter. The relationship then was one that had me blinded from the truth of what I deserved. I was accepted into beauty and barber school in 2012 where I began my quest to become a Licensed Master Barber. It was there that I met the love of my life who is now my husband whom I've been happily married to since November 15, 2015. To find out more dont be afraid to ask.
